|Call for Papers: Special Issue on Engines and Fuels|
Deadline for Paper Submission: May 15, 2018
Engineering is an international peer-reviewed academic journal sponsored by Chinese Academy of Engineering. The journal is published on a bimonthly basis in English. Online versions are available through http://engineering.org.cn and http://www.journals.elsevier.com/engineering/ .
The International Summit on Breakout Technologies of Engine and Fuel (ISEF2018) will be held on August 20-23, 2018 in Tianjin, which is sponsored by the Chinese Academy of Engineering and is organized by the State Key Laboratory of Engines (SKLE) at Tianjin University. The themes of the Summit focus on discussions of the so-called “breakout technologies” for the future I.C. Engines in order to meet the requirement of high efficiency and cleanness, low carbon emission, safety, low noise and better drivability.
To emphasize the progress of I.C. engines and the potential disruptive innovation in the future, we plan to publish a special issue in the journal Engineering, which is in charge of the Chinese Academy of Engineering. The impact factor of this journal in 2017 is about 3. You can visit the website for more details on this journal at https://www.journals.elsevier.com/engineering. The special issue accepts both original research and review papers, focusing on the five major topics as follows：
1. Advanced high efficiency technologies in IC engines.
2. New technologies and concepts of engine combustion and fuels.
3. New technologies and concepts of engine compound cycles.
4. New technologies and concepts of low carbon life cycle fuels.
5. New technologies and concepts of aftertreatment .
6. New technologies of engine powertrain and powertrain system.
